Bridge To Terabithia.
When i first saw the trailer for this movie, i was expecting something like Narnia. I magical world, with some kind of quest involved.
I didnt expect so much from the school, though i liked that part where he punches the creep into the wall.
During they're 'adventure' the only 'quest' they get, is to ofcourse protecting they're keep, but also getting the keys for Jesses dad.
That doesn't seem to be that hard, since they've got Super speed, grenades, and Jesse with an ironfist.
I must admit, that dissapointed me. The movie is recommended for smaller kids, and you can see why in some scenes.
But i loved it. And most of the all, the great play from our Anna, and ofcourse a great play too from Josh.
First i was thinking giving this movie 3/5 Stars, till i reaced the part in the movie, where Jesse gets to know, that Leslie is dead.
4 times, tears rolled down my chin 1 drop after another, 4 times when that was revealed. Not at that scene alone, but from 4 different.
The one where the dad tells shes dead
At the point where he looks at the picture of her he made
Scene where the teacher tells about her husband
And at the funeral.
That made me 200% sure giving an extra star to the movie.
So im giving it 4/5 stars.
Leaving one behind because of they're "Superpowers".
Yes, you can now think; "Well, the whole place (Terabithia) was all from they're minds, and they could make happen whatever they wanted... Even getting grenades, speed and an ironfist.."
- Yes thats true, but i just think its abit over the line.
