the end of BtT is so sad, but do you think this picture was how leslie looked the last time she swung over to terabithia when the accident happened?  do you think she was happy?  |

i finally saw the movie, and yes, it is very sad......
i think she was not happy when she fell, maybe she was more in a rush to be in terabithia, since jesse was not there

I Haven't seen the movie, but I think she was feeling.....sadness because no one wants to pass in such a way to the death below yet she could've felt the warm ray of sun shine on her face as she dropped. sort of in a sence of happiness and joy of knowing that she was going to a better place.

ok, i have a question...... when jess goes back, a tree had fallen over and made a perfect bridge..... why didnt leslie use that, especially since the water was so high???

they say you can't get to terabithia unless you swing across on the rope - it's one of the rules that jesse and leslie make up

what i always asked was why she went into terribithia alone, i mean she never went alone before... accept for when she took the keys with Maybelle. But it just seems odd that she would just go alone into there without jess.. none the less, very very sad movie, i feel weird being here because im a guy but im not afraid to say that i cried for 10 minutes after i saw the movie. I was always hoping that somehow he would see her again in terribithia

that's a good point "why did she go alone"? i think that's what makes the whole thing sadder - the fact that maybe she missed playing with jess, since he went away without asking her to come along, and she went to their special place so she wouldn't feel alone - oh my, now i'm crying again...  P.S. it's nice to have a guy here who's not afraid to cry... welcome ;D |
