i just saw the reaping - annasophia was AMAZING ;D  , everytime she came on i was spellbound, and everytime i thought she was coming on i found myself holding my breath, haha ;D she truely is the BEST actress ever i totally agree!! annasophia was perfect!! i brought the movie as soon as i could and now i've watched it 3 times already!! she only has like two lines in the whole movie and the rest of it is simply down to her acting ability to portray her character - anna is simply the best!! |

i know that there's a couple of christian members here and i just wondered what they make of the reaping with all its strong religious messages?

The only religious message that I have seen in "the reaping" has been a strong message of faith.
And a lot of nonsenses about scientific explanations, no offend.
After I saw the movie, I still believe but with more faith

i know that there's a couple of christian members here and i just wondered what they make of the reaping with all its strong religious messages? I never did get to see the movie! >_> But I do know about all the themes in it. The main character tries to explain away the plagues using scientific explanations, right? But in the end she comes to see she was blaming God unfairly for everything that happened to her. I think that's interesting. Though the idea of the plagues being sent to Louisiana is pretty far fetched and very Hollywood...ized? xD they were used in Exodus to warn the Pharaoh...I was surprised, though, that they actually pointed to the existence of God and Satan, you know, being a Hollywood movie. |
